How long have you been a licensed REALTOR?

Barb Lea holds a broker's license and has been selling real estate in this area since 1981. Joe Thackery has been licensed and selling real estate in this area since April of 2001.  We both are Accredited Buyer's Representatives, Relocation Specialists, Certified Residential Specialist and have been residents in Coppell since 1984.

 

What did you do prior to becoming a REALTOR?

Joe was a licensed investment trader with Fidelity Investments.  He was also owner of a landscaping and lawn business serving Coppell and Valley Ranch from 1989 until selling the company in early 2001.   Barb was a loan officer with Dallas Federal Savings & Loan, and also built homes serving as Vice President with Thackery Custom Homes in Carrollton from 1983 through 1985.  

 

Which areas are you licensed to sell Real Estate in?
The Joe and Barb Team is licensed in the entire Great State of Texas.  Barb also has had a broker's license since 1984 which very few agents have. 

 

Which counties do you cover?
The Joe and Barb Team cover the entire DFW metroplex.  However, we do specialize in the North Dallas area specifically Coppell, Irving (Valley Ranch & Hackberry Creek), Flower Mound, Lewisville, Southlake, Colleyville, and Carrollton.

 

Are you a full-time REALTOR?
The Joe and Barb Team are full-time agents whose only source of income is the sale and rental of residential real estate.  We know this area and this market very well.

 

How many houses do you list and sell each year?
On average, The Joe and Barb Team sell approximately 1 house per week or about 50 to 60 houses per year.

 

What is your main source of business?
Over the years, The Joe and Barb Team has developed a client base of HUNDREDS of friends and families.   The Joe and Barb Team enjoy a high level of repeat and referral business, over 50% of their sales are as a result of someone having mentioned The Joe and Barb Team to someone else, but are never too busy for good prospects!  Another source of many clients are active marketing campaigns that cover all of Coppell and Valley Ranch, and certainly all of our for sale signs out there.

How do I get to your office?
We are located at 8600 N. MacArthur Blvd, Ste 104 in Valley Ranch which is the north tip of Irving . From Downtown Dallas, take I-35E north to 635 (LBJ). Go west on 635 (LBJ) for 5 miles or so, exit MacArthur, head north (right). You will be in Valley Ranch. Proceed to the bottom of the hill, and turn right at the light which is Valley Ranch Parkway. We are located in the retail center on your left on the corner. Call if you have any trouble.
